Every morning write a sentence/phrase of self appreciation on a sticky note and post it where you will see it numerous times throughout the day.  Every time you see the note, take a few seconds to stop, put your hand over your heart to connect to your heart space and say the phrase out loud or to yourself.  Then take a deep nurturing breath, breathe in the statement fully, exhale breathing away any resistance you might feel.

Some suggested phrases in case you are having trouble coming up with your own:

  • I am amazing!
  • I am beautiful!
  • I am so kind.
  • I am a patient person.
  • I am a great friend.
  • I am a wonderful listener.
  • I am understanding.
  • I am compassionate.
  • I am non-judgmental.
  • I am open to new ideas.
  • I am a loyal friend.
  • I am brilliant.
  • I am present.
  • I am courageous.
  • I am loving.
  • I am happy.
  • I am fearless.
  • I am powerful.
